Goodbye to Game Informer and Indie Gaming Magazines

Game Informer is a 33 year old gaming magazine that shut down this month. Including the removal of archives.

• You can find some video clips and scanned older issues on archive.org.
• Retromags.com has scanned issues of Game Informer Issues 1-260 (1991-2014)
• The Wayback Machine has extensive archives
• Game Informer Gets To Say Goodbye - The MinnMax Show is a podcast episode where a few journalists from the magazine talk about it.

I'm not sure if Game Informer itself counts as indieweb but I feel like historical preservation is more a concern of the indieweb than the corporate web.

Also I found two indie game centric magazines with print versions. I want to subscribe to these next pay cycle and see how they fare.
